I use to suffer from neck and shoulder pain until I stopped sleeping on my side. Poor sleeping habits can affect the way you feel all day.

After a bout with cancer, I started sleeping on my side to protect my incision. I developed excruciating pain in my neck and shoulder radiating down to my fingertips. My endocrinologist at the time attributed the pain to my cancer treatment, surgery or medicine and told me to get used to it. Wrong answer!

So I started off on a wellness journey to find the right answers. I was eating a low-inflammatory diet, exercise regularly and receiving holistic treatments, but I still woke up in pain every morning. When my son realized his stiff neck was caused by sleeping on his stomach, I thought maybe my pain was caused by side sleeping.
